surprise surprise, look who is comin to visit

So with the newly retired Nicholsons out on the loose, they decided to be the most spontaneous people ever and plan a three week vacation to California and gave us two days notice :) While the trip started out a lil rough – This is definitely not a plug for their first car rental company - It was a nightmare (literally) at 1:00 in the morning!!!  But we finally ended up switching companies and getting them in a Red Mustang and they were off to Arizona and then northern California all WITHOUTa map.. I can’t even get home without my navigation let alone travel the state…. Those Nicholsons – they sure do get around.. 

But on weekends - - they were mine!!

I was a bad photographer and didn't carry the camera around and neither did they... So we really only photos from one day... One busy day though..

Then off to the Old LA Zoo, where Jerry did his fair share of investigating.  

 And it looks like it might have gotten him to some trouble. :)
