NORTH DAKOTA!!
I got to go home for the second time in a year!! I found really cheap tickets (only $138) and couldn't pass up a good deal or miss out on the opportunity to see my family! And it wasn't supposed to be below zero so it was perfect timing.
I flew into Fargo but we went straight to the lake.
Everyone played the Wii! Kaylin bowled over a 200.. and thought nothing of it.. I think she got either a strike or a spare on every frame. Grace is a little George Foreman. She knocks everyone out. I, of course, had to see for myself and sure enough. KO!
Jacob is still getting the hang of it but doesn't allow anyone to keep him out of the fun! He is always right in there ready to play - or hold a remote that isn't necessarily set to play :)
Since their box arrived a little too late for Christmas, I made the kids wait til I came so I could witness them open them up for once. They wanted "pillow pets" which I had never heard of.. Its a pillow but then you snap a little strap underneath and wala (sp) you have a pet.. Hence the ever-so-clever name.
Kaylin got a pig, Grace an elephant and Jacob a puppy.
Then came Sunday. The girls didn't realize I live in a different time zone so they woke me up - "cuz I was sleeping so late" - - It was 8..... six my time. But I didn't mind - I can sleep some other time.
So we got dressed.
The whole family wears purple..... for the Vikings, of course, but I was wearing my prom dress from 1996!!!
Doesn't make me any less of a fan though.
Dress up continued.
On Kaylin - Sweater and Scarf
On Grace - Shirt and JEANS
all belong to me.
I have got to hand it to these girls - they put together some pretty cute outfits!
They could not get enough! and frankly, neither could I..
I can't wait til these kids are old enough to travel - I think its about time they meet the beach!
