wedding bells and volleyballs

A friend of mine from Utah (who now lives in San Diego) got married over the weekend. She is fun one. She has the LOUDEST laugh I have ever heard. She would often get cut off at the bar for being too intoxicated because her laugh was too loud. One time after only one beer. They just couldn’t believe a sober person could or would ever laugh that loud.

They picked a beautiful spot in Dana Point, California.
The bride was her same ol self - Wild!
But not quite as wild as the DJ thought… He goes to play their first song and announces it's Fools Rush In. You know the one, Wise men say, only fools rush in, but I.. can’t.. help.. falling in love you… a nice, slow, romantic beat BUT BAM! He starts playing the club version - no joke – beats and the techno voice synethesizer. Nick and Liz tell him it’s the wrong song and he is shocked. How could DJ man not double check with the bride and groom on that one? A simple, “Just to clarify, I am planning on playing the “Up in da club” version instead of the normal slow song for your first dance??”
That would only be if he had a doubt though.
But they eventually got it right and it was sweet
and so were our name cards.
We ate filet mignon while we sipped our Coors Light -
Did a little dancin but decided to call it night after the 15th toast.
They were getting a little "intoxicating" ;)

The next morning we went for a bike ride to go check out the AVP (American Volleyball Professionals) Tournament. The pier and the beach were both packed. We parked our bikes and people watched. We should’ve gone in but we didn’t - we went home instead.
But in our defense we accomplished a ton this weekend. We rented a U-Hual (which had ND on the side, totally picture worthy and totally forgot (bummer)) and moved all of my belongings into a storage unit to yet again be stored. It has now been over a year and a half since I have seen my belongings or sat on my couch. It will surely feel like Christmas when I can finally unpack.

Maybe in some weird way it will feel like having all new stuff since it'll have been so long since you used it....? Kinda like when you unbox your winter clothes (or maybe that's just me). :)
